Creating Large-Scale Pencils

Inspired by artist Claes Oldenberg, I elected to make “large-scale” color pencils---no, they do not actually work. However, they are six foot tall large wood sculptures that resemble colors pencils. In order to create, I had to cut and sand the wood, tape the tips of my pencils, & spray paint the sculptural pieces. My goals is to create two dozen beautiful, colorful pencils to line the fence of my outdoor installation piece.
